Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum hardware systems including superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Develop error correction techniques to advance quantum coherence and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum computing solutions
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to strategic roadmapping for quantum technology commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Grover's variants)
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and passion for pushing quantum boundaries
