Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors for specific applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing integration into enterprise solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware limitations and mitigation strategies
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business applications
