Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in machine learning and drug discovery
- Develop error-correction protocols to stabilize qubits in multi-qubit systems
- Lead open-source quantum software projects with 50K+ GitHub stars
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into experimental implementations
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
- Secure $1M+ in government grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into functional prototypes
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
