Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to calibrate quantum processors at millikelvin temperatures
- Lead cross-functional teams in publishing research in Nature Physics and Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in DOE/NASA quantum computing research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Present findings at Davos and World Economic Forum technology summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly languages
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and dilution refrigerators
- Track record of securing federal research grants
