Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction techniques to advance quantum hardware stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world applications
- Lead research initiatives published in top-tier journals and presented at international conferences
- Prototype quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Secure external funding through NSF and DOE grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
