Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Security clearance eligibility for government projects preferred
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems a plus
