Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and computational acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and venture funding for experimental projects
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum methodologies
- Develop patentable quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Present findings at global conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM/Qiskit or Google Cirq
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding from DARPA or NSF
- Experience with superconducting qubits or topological quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
