Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms solving NP-hard problems
- Simulate quantum systems using hybrid classical-quantum frameworks
- Lead 20+ person research initiatives on quantum error correction
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Collaborate with IBM, Google, and MIT on quantum cloud integration
- Patent 3+ quantum computing methodologies annually
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics (2020-2025)
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science on quantum supremacy
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Track record of translating theory to commercial prototypes
