Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate on quantum hardware development with our engineering team to overcome decoherence challenges
- Lead research projects in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at conferences like APS March Meeting
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Develop partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python and low-level quantum circuit optimization
- Publication record in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
