Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Develop novel quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era AI challenges
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and drive cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion)
- Proven ability to translate theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
