Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with aerospace and biotech partners
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $1M+ in NSF/DoD research grants
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit/Cirq programming frameworks
- Published peer-reviewed research in quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of translating theory to prototype systems
