Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting platforms
- Develop error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage government/private research funding initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation systems
- Strong analytical skills with statistical modeling background
