Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, AI, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum hardware-software integration solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Secure and manage research funding from government agencies and private investors
- Mentor junior researchers and develop quantum computing curriculum for emerging talent
- Collaborate with industry partners to translate theoretical research into commercial products
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development, quantum error correction, and quantum simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical high-performance computing
- Strong track record of publications in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants and manage complex projects
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
