Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Qiskit)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum information or quantum computing
- Proficiency with high-performance computing and parallelization techniques
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra
