Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design and execute quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve qubit stability

- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing principles
- Develop patentable quantum computing architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence challenges
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
