Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum processors
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant systems
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with industry partners on quantum cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or NISQ systems
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly
- Experience securing DoE/NIST research funding
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
