Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and build next-generation quantum research talent

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with demonstrated publications
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and many-body physics
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped ion systems
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
