Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and coherence enhancement
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance on emerging platforms
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
