- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams on superconducting qubit calibration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with quantum annealing or gate-model systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Track record of translating theoretical models to experimental validation
