Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop proprietary quantum error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into practical quantum applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum computing domains
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Identify and commercialize breakthrough quantum computing applications for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
- Proven track record of translating quantum theory into real-world applications
