Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum cryptography or machine learning
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience securing federal research grants or industry funding
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
