Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead experiments on 100+ qubit quantum processors to achieve error correction milestones
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech researchers on quantum supremacy validation
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion-trap systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical mechanics
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
