Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Lead research initiatives in error correction techniques and quantum error mitigation strategies
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks and APIs to democratize quantum access for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum information science
- Strong background in quantum error correction, many-body systems, or topological quantum computing
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and distributed quantum simulation tools
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business applications
- Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-disciplinary R&D environments
