Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance quantum system stability beyond 2026 requirements
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using our 1000+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum architectures for specific industry use cases
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through weekly quantum computing hackathons
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals aligned with 2026 quantum roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC systems
- Published record in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware optimization
