Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end quantum algorithm development for cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Architect scalable quantum hardware-software interfaces for industrial deployment by 2026
- Secure $10M+ in government grants and private partnerships for quantum initiatives
- Mentor a cross-disciplinary team of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop quantum-resistant security protocols for next-gen financial systems
- Author whitepapers influencing quantum computing standards and policy frameworks
- Present breakthroughs at Davos, IEEE Quantum Week, and industry summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years research
- Published work in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Track record of translating quantum algorithms to commercial applications
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants or venture capital for deep tech
- Proficiency in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead international research consortia
