Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research roadmaps targeting 2026 commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation
- Partner with industry leaders to prototype quantum solutions for finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and publish 3+ high-impact papers annually
- Maintain cutting-edge quantum hardware systems and error-correction protocols
- Present findings at international conferences and patent key innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier 1 institution
- 10+ years of quantum research with 5+ years in team leadership
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in quantum information science
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and hardware-software co-design
- Proven track record of securing $3M+ in research funding
