Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum algorithms targeting 2026 commercial applications
- Architect scalable quantum computing infrastructure with 99.9%+ fidelity
- Collaborate with MIT/Caltech partners on error correction breakthroughs
- Secure $10M+ in DoE/NIST grants for quantum supremacy projects
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum information science
- Develop patentable quantum-mechanical solutions for climate modeling
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week 2026 keynote
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published 3+ Nature/Science papers on quantum error correction
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems and cryogenic engineering
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq with 100+ quantum algorithm deployments
- Track record of securing $5M+ in quantum research funding
- Fluency in quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Active contributor to Open Quantum Design standards
