- Coordinate cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE and ACM quantum computing conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and computational theory
- Patent novel quantum architectures and methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or entanglement
- Expertise in superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience leading technical teams of 8+ researchers
