Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm research for industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Collaborate with academic partners on next-gen quantum hardware integration
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Present findings at top-tier conferences (QIP, APS March Meeting)
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum cryptography
- Proven track record of publishing in high-impact journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Experience securing government/commercial R&D grants
- Strong background in error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
