Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and machine learning applications
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish cutting-edge research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants and partnerships
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Develop intellectual property portfolio with 5+ patent applications annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Proficiency with quantum simulation frameworks (QASM, Qiskit Aer)
- Demonstrated experience securing government/industry grants
- Knowledge of quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
