Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for commercial applications
- Manage cross-disciplinary research teams across physics and computer science
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies on quantum adoption roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience managing research teams and budgets >$1M
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil)
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
- Clearance for federal research projects preferred
