Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design and implement error correction protocols for practical quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Secure research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proven ability to secure $1M+ in research funding
