Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead 15-person R&D team through experimental validation cycles
- Collaborate with IBM/Google quantum cloud partners on integration protocols
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish top-tier papers in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Develop patent portfolios for quantum-resistant security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in fault-tolerant quantum computing or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum error correction protocols
- Experience mentoring post-quantum cryptography specialists
