Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to enhance qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from federal and private entities
- Mentor PhD researchers and guide quantum software engineering teams
- Develop patent portfolios for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and algorithm optimization
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated success securing government research funding
- Experience mentoring quantum research teams of 5+ members
