Responsibilities

- Manage cross-functional teams of 8-12 researchers across physics, CS, and AI domains
- Design and execute quantum hardware integration protocols
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop real-world quantum use cases
- Secure $5M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Symposium and Nature Quantum journals
- Establish ethical frameworks for quantum deployment in enterprise environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research with published papers in top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven experience managing R&D teams with $2M+ budgets
- Strong knowledge of quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit and ion trap technologies
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Clearance for government-level quantum security projects
