Responsibilities

- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science programs
- Drive quantum computing adoption through industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier-1 institution
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum gate model and annealing systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python/C++ with Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers
