Responsibilities

- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through grant proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Collaborate with government agencies on national security quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (10+ years experience)
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development or cryptography
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Strong understanding of NIST quantum-resistant cryptography standards
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for diverse stakeholders
