Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Design and implement quantum error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Publish cutting-edge research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in research funding through NSF and DoD proposals
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive talent development initiatives

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary research teams
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC candidates)
