Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical 2026 applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Design scalable quantum error correction protocols for commercial deployment
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists, computer scientists, and engineers
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Develop quantum-secure encryption standards for post-quantum era
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm implementation
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
- Experience managing quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
