Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Drive research in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation strategies
- Secure $10M+ in federal and private research funding through compelling proposals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Partner with industry leaders to commercialize quantum computing breakthroughs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Track record of securing government or industry research grants
