Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for enterprise applications
- Design and optimize quantum circuits for error correction and scalability
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Publish top-tier research in Nature/Science and present at QIP conferences
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions in finance and healthcare
- Mentor PhD researchers and build quantum talent pipeline
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with 2+ publications in high-impact journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
