Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization applications
- Oversee hardware integration of qubit systems at cryogenic temperatures
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Manage $2M+ research budgets and vendor partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Develop roadmaps for fault-tolerant quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information
- 5+ years quantum research with IBM/Google/D-Wave experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers in quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit design
- Experience managing R&D teams of 8+ researchers
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems
