Responsibilities
- Architect and lead quantum hardware/software integration projects targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Mentor a team of 10+ quantum physicists and engineers
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants and partnerships
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable systems
- Publish 4+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with IBM, Google, and Microsoft on quantum cloud initiatives
- Present findings at global quantum summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum hardware (h-index >25)
- Proven track record of leading quantum computing projects with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning applied to quantum systems
- Demonstrated success in securing government grants and corporate partnerships
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Active participant in IEEE Quantum Computing standards committees
