Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Drive quantum error correction strategies for scalable quantum computing
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum solutions
- Mentor PhD researchers and develop quantum curriculum for internal talent

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with published papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of leading technical research teams
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity
- Ability to translate quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
