Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems operating at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Create simulation frameworks for quantum circuit validation before physical deployment
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructure
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven experience with quantum algorithm design and optimization
- Familiarity with quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC codes)
