Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms optimized for error-corrected qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead prototyping of quantum hardware interfaces using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Create machine learning models to predict quantum system behavior and optimize performance
- Partner with security teams to develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Publish research in IEEE journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Familiarity with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical applications
- Certification in quantum machine learning (QML) preferred
