Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Develop error mitigation techniques for 100+ qubit systems
- Optimize quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with physicists to model quantum decoherence effects
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum software libraries
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit design
- Publication record in quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum error correction codes
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement principles
- Familiarity with quantum hardware constraints (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and tensor networks
