Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead architecture of hybrid quantum-classical systems with 99.99% fidelity
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate photonic and superconducting qubit technologies
- Create quantum security frameworks protecting data beyond 2040
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics or Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and complexity theory
- Familiarity with quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Braket, IonQ)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Strong knowledge of cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts to executive stakeholders
