Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable quantum computing solutions using superconducting qubits and trapped ion systems
- Design quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant computing frameworks
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) or superconducting systems
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from concept to deployment
