Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with 10,000+ qubit capacity
- Develop novel quantum error-correction codes for fault-tolerant systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for commercial applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in topological quantum computing and quantum supremacy
- Collaborate with industry partners to implement quantum solutions in finance and healthcare
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor quantum engineering teams and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum circuit design and qubit coherence optimization
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms and quantum annealing
- Familiarity with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in quantum technology research grants
